My third week of fun and interesting internship is end. I'm very busy in these days. I doing a lot of tasks and during one of the task at site, I spoke with my supervisor and set up interview date. We decided to make interview on Thursday just for 30 minutes. We did very quickly and it was fun for both of us. Let's move onto questions and answers:

1. How long have you lived in New York?
I have lived for 12 years.

2. If you’re not a native of New York, where did you live before? (cities, states, countries)?
I’m not native New Yorker. I lived in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States.

3. Where did you go to high school? What kind of student were you in high school? What were your favorite classes/least favorite? What sports and extracurricular activities did you do?
I went to Liberty High School. My high school is big public school. My favorite classes were Psychology, English and Art. I did publishing literature magazines, drama and a lot of art work on my own.

4. Did you go to college? Graduate school? If so, where? For how long? What degree(s) did you earn? Are you interested in going back to school? If so, what do you plan to study?
Yes, I did do to college. I graduated from New York University. I earned 4 year degree of psychology. Possible may go back for master degree.

5. How did you choose your current occupation?
Both parents were working in helping to people. They are therapist. I chose my current occupation like to be nonprofit, art work and writing stuff.

6. What steps did you take to get this job? How did you learn about it?  How many interviews did you have? Was the hiring process difficult, not difficult? If a person were looking for a job at your company, what advice would you offer?
My boss was supporter and person who helped me get job. Steps I had interview and waited for their response. Difficult part was waiting because for this spot there was one more person. Everything in my case took time. If a person looking for a job at school I would offer some advices such as self starters, good cover letter, dedicated, collaborated, flexible and  be resilient.

7. How long have you worked here? Have you worked in different capacities at this job? What jobs at this company have you done in addition to the one you do now?
I worked at Art & Letters for 4 years. I have worked in different capacities such as same title but as organization grows have to do different things. I organized festival at school on Saturday for parents and their kids.

My job title is Partnership at Art & Letters. My responsibilities at thus job are fund raising, managing special programs and communication PR for school.

9. Who is your direct supervisor and what is her/his job title?  How much do you interact with her/him on a weekly basis? How many people do you supervise?
Allison Pell is the principal of school. I interact with her everyday via email. I work independently, outside programs came to school I’m in charge of it. “Now she is supervising the intern from IHSL.”-admitted Shahzod.

10. What are two examples of challenges you face working here?
I have challenges with multitask-a lot of things going on, prioritize-what is going, it’s difficult to decide and difficult to raise money that school needs, because the budget is so big every year.

11. What is the best part of your job?
General the best part of my job is doing things with kids. Beside that is the staff and community are dedicated, so fun and inspire work here.

12. What is something you would like to change about your job?
I would like to change about my work is focus on couple favorite parts, not focus on other parts.

13. Did you work somewhere else before this job? Where? For how long? How was that job similar or different?
I worked with Philanthropist in New York for a few years. The similarities are a lot of writing, manage events. Her work includes art programs which is similar to this job I’m doing now.

14. What do you see as your future at this company? If you plan on changing jobs, what will you do?
Little more narrow and communication part for non-profit.

15. How do you hope I, a high school intern, can most help your company or organization?
The things you doing are very helpful and really great, access for program. Important thing that I don’t have time to do, I will ask you to do. For instance building board, portfolio uploading.

16. What advice would you give to teenage interns (such as myself) getting ready for college?
            - To take serious current high school, learning something not just wasting time.
            - Writing skill is important for college and rest of life.
            - To start to use to be proactive, finding programs that help you find what you interested in.

17. What advice would you give to teenage interns (such as myself) preparing to find a career?
            - Try to talk with people in career you want to be.
            - Visit what job is what in real life.
            - Gain your observation and take serious for future life.

At the end I was excited and my supervisor Ms. Meghan concluded, “Who made them, good questions, we had more fun than I thought.” Another task is finished on time and my excitement lets me share my blog with supervisor.
