Post # 7 Thank you Letter

05/18/2012

Dear Ms. Joseph,

From all my respect, I thank you for being such as good mentor during my 10 week internship. I spent this period of time with you and learned a lot. I really enjoyed working with you. You helped me to gain knowledge about how to conduct research and how to create short summaries for students. In addition, I learned about important office skills such as using a paper cutter and copy machine. I can go back to my high school and help my schoolteachers with these tasks now.  I won’t have any troubles when they do. You are great person with positive energy. I really like your organize work style and flexibility with co-workers. I noticed that you never reject students’ ideas. Even when they came to your office in bad mood, you explained them that bad behavior is not good for students. The way how express their feel was good, by drawing pictures. You are really helpful not for me but for entire Art & Letters crew. I appreciated how you helped me with the tasks I didn’t understand and clarified things for me quickly.

Thank you for recognizing my ability to be detail-orientated and helping me to further develop that skill. You are the first person to tell me that. By organizing the necessary supplies for students, I built my organizational skills working with journals and getting them ready for the young students.

Thank you for being an inspiration to me.  Your warm words of encouragement really helped. I think you have guided me in the right way for professional presentations to companies to that can donate to your school’s budget. The instructions you gave me about making presentation folders taught me a lot about how organizations can raise money.  In addition, by meeting new teachers and talking to them I gained stronger communication skills.

I’m proud to have been your intern and I wish you best of luck in the future.  My internship teacher is looking forward to keeping contact with you and collaborating for next year to bring on more interns.  I will miss you. Take care my great mentor.

Sincerely,
Shahzod Saydaliev
